Oakland Athletics vs Seattle Mariners - July 6th and 7th. The SF Giants are out of town, so this looks to be your only baseball option, unless you're interested in the Minor League San Jose Giants.

California Academy of Sciences - Amazing place with a full aquarium, rainforest, and planetarium.

Monterey Bay Aquarium - A bit of a drive, but worth it if you have an unscheduled day.

Rodin Sculpture Garden - A part of the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford, this sculpture garden is open at all hours (and looks quite dramatic at nighttime).

Stanford University - Care to tour the campus, see the area from the top of Hoover Tower or walk around the 3+ mile path (with hills!) at the Stanford Dish? Check out this site to help you plan your visit.

Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve - One of many preserves and trails open to the public for hiking or mountain biking.

Thomas Fogarty Winery & Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello - Two local wineries. Both great and relatively close.

Napa Valley Wineries - If you have an extra day in the area or are driving down from the north you may want to consider spending some time here.

Stanford Shopping Center - Need to take care of a shopping fix? The outdoor Stanford Shopping Center is located very close by and has dozens of great shops.
